In 1882 Samuel Dearing, farm labourer, was co-executor of his father's Will.

At the time of the 1891 England Census Samuel Dearing, aged 37, born in Hellingly, brickmaker, and wife Elizabeth Dearing, aged 35, born in Hellingly Sussex, were living in Harebeating, Hailsham Sussex.
