In January 1603 Moses Tiherst is named in the Will of his father-in-law Richard Taylor as husband of Richard's daughter Margaret.

In January 1609 Moses Tyerst was one of the overseers of the Will of his brother-in-law Thomas Taylor of Heathfield, weaver.

John Saunders of Heathfield, shoemaker, to his father Oliver Saunders of Burwash, tailor, for life, remainder to John Saunders.

Two messuages and 14 acres called Bakers and Tanners in Heathfield, occupied by Moses Tyherst and John Myller, which his uncle John Sadler of Brightling left him in his will.
