Between Philip Bray of Ashburnham, yeoman, and Sarah his wife (1), Henry Dearing of Heathfield, innholder, and Hannah his wife (2), Walter Roberts of Warbleton, gent. (3), William Harmer of Heathfield, bricklayer, (4) and Richard Oxley of Heathfield, blacksmith, (5), to lead the use of a Fine of:

(1) A messuage, barn, garden, orchard and 8 pieces of land containing 19 acres in Heathfield in the tenure of John Smith, bounding to the highway from Heathfield Down to Catstreet, N., to the highway from Catstreet to Heathfield church, E. and S. and to lands of Arthur Knight, W

2) Two pieces of land with a messuage or tenement thereon lately erected in Heathfield containing 5 acres in the tenure of the said William Harmer, bounding to lands of Arthur Knight, N., to lands of Raymond Blackmore, esq., W. and S. and to the highway from Bayley to Heathfield Church, E

(3) One piece of land with the messuage or tenement thereon lately erected in Heathfield containing 1 rood in the occupation of William Oxley, bounding to lands of the said Walter Roberts, S. and W., to the king's highway from Heathfield Down to Catstreet, N. and the highway from Catstreet to Heathfield Church, E

(4) A messuage or tenement and garden containing 13 rods in Heathfield in the tenure of the said Richard Oxley, bounding to lands of the said Hen. Dearing, E. to the garden of Mr. Bennett, W. and to the highway from Heathfield Down to Warbleton Down, N

Such Fine to be and enure, as to (1) to the use of Walter Roberts. As to (2) to the use of William Harmer; as to (3) to such uses as the said Philip Bray should appoint; and as to (4) to the use of the said Richard Oxley
