In April 1599 Christopher Dearinge was one of the overseers of the Will of his late brother William Dearinge of Hellingly.

Abstract of the Will of Christopher Deeringe of the Parish of Hellingly in the County of Sussex, written 29 Mar 1608, proved 28 May 1608. 2

Gives 3 shillings 4 pence to the poor of the parish of Hellingly.

Gives £30 to his son Christopher.

Gives £20 to his daughter Joane.

Gives £10 to the child his wife is carrying.

The rest of his goods he gives to his wife Joane whom he makes sole executrix of his last will and testament.

Nominates Nicholas Keymer, gent, and John Tindall as overseers of his will, giving them 12 pence each for their efforts.
