In 1727 Ezekiel Bristed bequeathed to his only surviving daughter Elizabeth 'now the wife of Joseph Wildbore' his best bed and the linen and furniture associated with it.

Writing his Will in February 1751 Timothy Burrell, Rector of Lindfield, bequeathed to his wife Elizabeth Burrell an annuity of £60 for the term of her natural life.
