In 1727 Nathaniel's father bequeathed him his law books, a bed with the linen and furniture associated with it, and a silver tankard.
It is probable that Nathaniel either lived with or was in close association with his sister Elizabeth who resided in Lindfield with her first and second husbands, Joseph Wildbore, M.D. and the Rev. Timothy Burrell, respectively.
