In March 1858 George Alfred Page was present at the marriage of his brother Edwin Edward Page to Margaret Davis in Aberystwyth.

At the time of the 1861 England Census George A Page, aged 33, born in Aberystworth Cardiganshire, unmarried, clerk E. T. Dept H. M. Customs, was lodging at 33 Durham St., Lambeth Surrey.

At the time of the 1871 England Census George A Page, aged 32, born in Aberystwyth Cardiganshire, clerk civil service, and wife Clara H, aged 30, born in Marylebone Middlesex, manageress of bakery, were living at 55 Foley St., St. Marylebone, London. At the time of the 1901 England Census George A Page, aged 64, born in Aberystwyth Cardigan, retired from civil service surveyor H. M. Customs, and [2nd] wife Jessie, aged 37, born in Peckham Surrey, were living at 27 Sussex Avenue, Margate Kent. With them was son Geoffrey V (10 months) of Margate.
