In Apr 1937 Charles Edward Carey, farmer, was granted Probate of his late father's personal effects.
In the 1939 Register Charles E Carey (b. 5 Feb 1896), dairy farmer, and wife Ada A Carey (b. 18 Dec 1896), unpaid domestic duties, were living in Broyleside Inn, Broyle Side, Ringmer, Sussex. At the same address were [daughter] Audrey M Carey (b. 26 Sep 1921), doctor's secretary, and [two records closed].
In May 1951 Charles Edward Carey, dairy farmer, was granted Administration of the personal effects of his late wife Ada Annie Carey.
