Abstract of the Will of Richard Warrell the Younger of Heathfield in County Sussex, written 6 Jun 1613, proved 14 Aug 1613. 5

Wills that his body be buried in the churchyard of Heathfield.

Gives and bequeaths £8 to his daughter Anne, to be paid to her when she turns sixteen. In the mean time the interest of the said amount to be used to her best advantage at the discretion of his father.

Gives and bequeaths to Alice his sister one ewe sheep and a lamb.

The rest of his goods he gives to Elizabeth his wife whom he makes sole executrix of his will.

Appoints his friends John Williams and Richard Page overseers of his last will.

None of Richard's family survived, both wife Elizabeth and daughter Anne dying less than a month after him. Elizabeth Warrell was buried on 12 August and Anne three days later.
