At the time of the 1871 England Census Thomas Hook, age 23, born in Waldron Sussex, agl labr, was with his widowed mother Elizabeth Hook, laundress, in Huggetts, Waldron Sussex.

At the time of the 1881 England Census Thomas Hook, age 32, born in Waldron Sussex, ag lab, and wife Frances Hook, age 26, born in Heathfield Sussex, were living at 2 Brook House, Waldron Sussex.

At the time of the 1891 England Census Thomas Hook, age 43, born in Waldron Sussex, agricultural laborer, and wife Frances Hook, age 37, born in East Hoathly [sic], were living in The Brook, Waldron Sussex.
