Writing his Will in Aug 1710, Stephen Rothwell of Uckfield, carrier, bequeathed £5 to his brother John Rothwell.

In Sep 1714 John Rothwell of Lindfield, joiner, was one of those granted Administration of the goods and chattels of his father John Rothwell of Lindfield.

Gives and bequeaths 20 shillings each to his five sons John Rothwell, Stephen Rothwell, Thomas Rothwell, Robert Rothwell and Benjamin Rothwell.

Gives and bequeaths 20 shillings to his daughter Mary Rothwell.

Gives and bequeaths to his brother-in-law Robert Jenner of Lindfield his dwelling house and garden in Lindfield with the yearly rents, issues and profits, in trust, to provide for his children until they are able to provide for themselves.

Makes his brother-in-law Robert Jenner sole executor and trustee of his last will and testament.

Witnesses: John Combridge, William Batchelor, Henry Fairhall
