Called Richard (William) in the Lincolnshire Pedigrees. The 1562 Visitations of Lincolnshire calls him Richard, son of William Lacon, who in turn is shown as 2nd son of ...... Lacon of Willey, co. Salop. Based on the calculated dates (i.e. son Richard died in 1570, son George in 1577; son Richard's children were born in the 1560s), I have deferred to the 1562 Visitations. ^{1 2}
