Abstract of the Will of Evan Lloyd of Rhiwgôch in the Parish of Trawsfynydd in the County of Merioneth, Gentleman, written 17 Mar 1685/6, codicil written 25 Oct 1687 proved 26 Jul 1692. 2

Gives and bequeaths £50 to his grandchild Anne Lloyd one of the daughters of his son Robert Lloyd now deceased.

Gives and bequeaths 5 shillings each to his grandchildren Mary Lloyd and Roberta Lloyd, two other children of his deceased son Robert.

Gives and bequeaths £30 to his daughter Margaret Lloyd.

Gives and bequeaths £50 to his grandchild Griffith Roberts.

Gives and bequeaths 5 shillings each to his grandchildren Evan Roberts and John Roberts.

Gives and bequeaths £50 to his grandchild Margaret Roberts one of the children of his son-in-law Robert Thomas, an amount he'd already promised towards her education and preferment.

Gives and bequeaths 5 shillings each to his grandchildren Thomas Roberts and Dorothy Roberts, two other children of his said son-in-law Robert Thomas.

Gives and bequeaths 50 shillings each to his cousin Jane Lloyd and his godson Evan Lloyd, two of the children of his cousin John Lloyd of Vron.

Gives and bequeaths to his best horse to John Wynne.

Gives and bequeaths to his cousin Robert Wynne of Maes y neyedd a broad piece of gold to buy him a ring.

Gives and bequeaths 20 shillings to the parish of Trawsfynydd.

Gives and bequeaths to his said daughter Margaret Lloyd all his right, title, claim and interest in a parcel of land with the appurtenances called Cae dû situated in the parish of Bethcelert in county Merioneth and adjoining a messuage or tenement called Sygyn in consideration of a sum of money assigned over by one Thomas John Griffith to Maurice Anwill of Dolevriog Gent. now deceased and his self [Evan Lloyd] as by the said assignment (now held in trust by Richard Anwill of Dolevriog Gent.), for the term of her natural life for the use of his said grandchild Griffith Roberts and his heirs forever.

Nominates, constitutes and appoints his said son-in-law Robert Thomas and his said grandchild Griffith Roberts Co-executors of his last will and testament.

Desires that his said cousin Robert Wynne of Maes y newydd and his said cousin John Lloyd of Vron be Overseers of his last will and testament.
