2. Robert Griffith of Plas Tan y bwlch and John Humphreys the younger of Caerynwch, p. Dolgelley, esq's.
3. David Lloyd of Braych y Ceynant, p. Dolgelley, gent., and Jonett Lloyd, spinster, his daughter.

Griffith Pryse is named as deceased in the Will of his brother-in-law David Griffith of Ynys gwrtheirn in Llanenddwyn, yeoman (written 1763), who made a bequest of £20 to Griffith's children. 3

Abstract of the Will of Griffith Pryse of Ty yn y Coed in the County of Merioneth, written 11 Mar 1753, proved 15 May 1755. 4

Gives and bequeaths to his son Rice Pryse his silver tumbler.

Gives and bequeaths to his son Thomas Pryse his clock after the decease of Thomas's mother.

Gives and bequeaths £5 to his son Hugh.

Gives and bequeaths £10 to his son Richard.

Gives and bequeaths £10 to his daughter Jane.

All the rest, residue and remainder of his goods and effects he gives, devises and bequeaths to his wife Catherine Roberts whom he appoints Executrix of his last will and testament. But if his wife shall have the money that John Williams owes him then he gives an additional £5 each to his younger children beginning with Rice, and to Richard all his implements of husbandry.

Desires that his brother-in-law John Garnons, his cousin Lewis Meyrick and his son Rice Pryse be Trustees of his last will and testament.

Griffith married Catherine ROBERTS, daughter of Griffith ROBERTS of Rhiwgoch, Gent. and Jane GLYNNE, about 1717. (Catherine ROBERTS was born about 1696 in Rhiwgoch, Trawsfynydd, Merioneth, Wales and was buried on 27 Jun 1772 in Llanfachreth, Merioneth, Wales, aged 76 years.)
