At the time of the 1891 England Census Alfred Stevens, age 36, born in Firle Sussex, carman, and wife Jane, age 31, born in Cuxton Kent, were living at 12 Francis Terrace, Victoria Rd., Tonbridge Kent. OBITUARY
Mr. A. Stevens

The funeral took place recently of Mr. Alfred ("Bob") Stevens, of 45, South View-road, who died at the age of 87. The chief mourners were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Stevens, Mr. W. Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. George Stevens, Mrs. Batchelor, Kate and Kit, Mr. and Mrs. Funnell, Mr. E. Batchelor, Mr. Ted Batchelor, Miss Dorothy Jeffery, Miss Peggy Churcher, Miss Sybil Batchelor and Mr. Douglas Funnell. Mrs. Rose Jeffery was unable to attend owing to illness.
