Another name for Reginald was Reynold DE BRIOUSE.
His parentage is confirmed by a charter dated 24 Jun 1217 under which King Henry III notified those on the lands of "William de Breouse in Ireland" that "Reginald de Breouse having come to his fealty, the king restores to him all the lands which belonged to his father ere".
The Annals of Dunstable record that “Reginaldus frater eius” succeeded on the death of “Ægidius Herefordensis episcopus” in 1216, with the help of “Leulini Regis Walliæ” whose daughter he married. Henry III King of England notified a land agreement between "Reginaldum de Braosa" and "Johannem de Braosa" dated 5 Nov 1226. 2
Reginald married Grace (Grecia) DE BRIWERE, daughter of William DE BRIWERE Lord of Sumburne & Torre and Beatrice DE VAUX, about 1195 in 1st wife. (Grace (Grecia) DE BRIWERE was born about 1183 in Stoke, Devon, England and died before 1215.)
Reginald also married Gwladus Dhu FERCH LLYWELYN Princess of Wales, daughter of Llywelyn 'Fawr' AP IORWERTH and Joan PLANTAGENET, about 1215. (Gwladus Dhu FERCH LLYWELYN Princess of Wales was born in 1205 in Gwynedd, Caernarvonshire, Wales and died in 1251 in Windsor, Berkshire, England.)
