At the time of the 1861 England Census Harriet H Mocket, age 14, born in Ditchling, was nursemaid in Glynd Vicarage, Glynde Sussex.

In Mar 1871 Harriett Hetty Mockett was present at the marriage of her brother Frederick Matthias Mockett to Jane Unstead in West Firle Sussex.

At the time of the 1871 England Census Harriet Mockett, age 24, born in Ditchley Sussex, kitchen maid, was at 13 Grosvenor Place, St. George Hanover Square, London.

At the time of the 1881 England Census Harriet H Usher, age 34, born in Ditchling Sussex, and husband James Usher, age 39, born in Belfast Ireland, cook & confectioner, were living at 9 Geneva Rd., Lambeth London. With them were Harriet's nieces (born in West Firle Sussex): Annie T Mockett* (18), dressmaker, and Hetty Mockett* (12), scholar.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Harriet Hetty Usher, age 64, widow, mother of 4 children, was living at 65 Fortescue Road Bournemouth Hampshire. With her was son Charles Victor (27) of Brixton London, clerk at Pas Coy?. Harriet's sister Elizabeth Foster, widow, was living in the same road (no. 63).
