In 1891 Edward Ephraim (27) of Festiniog, quarryman, and wife Anne (28) of Festiniog were living at 126 Manod Rd, Festiniog. Present were children: Elizabeth E. Hughes (8) of Llandudno Carnarvon, Willie Ephraim (4) of Festiniog, Joseph Ephraim (7 mo) of Festiniog.

In 1901 Edward Ephraim (37) of Festiniog, slate quarrier, and wife Anne (39) of Llanrwrt Denbigh were living in Cellar Tanymanod Terrace, Festiniog. Present were sons (born in Festiniog): Joseph (10), Robert E. (2 mths).
