"Bernardus Willelmus comes" confirmed the foundation of Saint-Sever, confirmed by "germano meo Sancio et beatæ memoriæ matre mea Urraca, cum duobus consanguineus nostris Aymone…et Aymonio", by charter dated 3 Apr [1009]. According to Jaurgain, "Aymone…et Aymonio" were brothers. Amanieu signed a charter dated to [1030] under which Sancho Guillaume Duke of Gascony donated property to the church of Saint-André de Bordeaux. Jaurgain identifies Amanieu as ancestor of the seigneurs d’Albret. ¹
