The Historia Roderici records that Rodrigo Álvarez “held the castle of Luna and the provinces of Mormojón, Moradillo, Cellorigo and Curiel”. “...Domno Nunno Albariz...Nunno Albariz, Rodrico Albariz...Guntisalbo Albariz, Furtuni Albariz...Didaco Albariz...” witnessed the charter dated 24 May 1038 under which Fernando I King of Castile granted “castellum...Vierbele” to “Garcia Eneconis”. He subscribed a charter of Fernando I King of Castile in 1039. 1
