In 1881 Catherine Jones (27) of Barmouth was with her parents William Jones (76) of Dinas Mawddwy, fisherman, and Jane (67) of Llanfachreth, in Pen y Cei, Llanaber, Merioneth.
In 1901 Catherine Parry (47) of Barmouth, widow, farmer, was living in Hendre Hall, Llangelynin. Present were children (born in Celynin): Jenny (14), Elizabeth (13), Ruth M. (8), William (7), Ellis J. (4), David J. (1), and niece Elizabeth A. Williams (21) of Portmadoc Caernarvon, general domestic servant.
