In 1851, John Petherick (44) of Camborne, plumber & brazier employing 2 men and 2 boys, and wife Mary (43) of Camborne, were living in New Road, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): William (20), plumber & brazier, Mary Jane (17), John (15), grocer, Thomas (7)

In 1861, John Petherick (55) of Camborne, ironmonger & master brazier employing 2 men, 2 boys and 1 girl, and wife Mary (54) of Camborne, were living in Camborne. Present were sons (born in Camborne): Ezekial J. (22), ironmonger's assistant, Thomas H. I. (17), draper's apprentice

In 1871, John Petherick (66) of Camborne, grocer & tinplate worker, and wife Mary (63) of Camborne, were living in Market Place, Camborne.

John married Mary IVEY, daughter of Henry IVEY and Catherine BURALL, on 11 Jun 1829 in Camborne, Cornwall. (Mary IVEY was born in 1807 in Camborne, Cornwall, christened on 30 May 1807 in Camborne, Cornwall and died in 1883 in Camborne, Cornwall.)
