In 1841 Jane Burrell, aged about 40, and husband Paul Burrell, aged about 40, farmer, were living in Gurlyn, St. Erth, Cornwall. With them were daughters: Mary (8) and Matilda (6).
In 1851 Jane Burrell (50) of Phillack and husband Paul Burrell (55) of Camborne, farmer occupying 150 arable 50 pasture employing 10 labourers, were living in Gurlyn, St. Erth, Cornwall. With them were daughters Elizth. (25) of Crowan, Susan R. (21) of Crowan, and Paul's niece Elizabeth Harris (17) of Illogan.
