In 1841, Martha Jewill (50) and husband Samuel Jewill (60), ag. lab., were living in Churchtown, Crowan. Present were children: Martha (25), Edwin (15), James (14), Simon (13), Ann (10), Soloman (7)

In 1851, Martha Jewell (63) of Crowan, widow, was living in White Stile Downs, Crowan. Present were daughter Ann Jewell (20) of Crowan, schoolmistress, son Solomon Jewell (17) of Crowan, miner, granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Pool (4) of Crowan, scholar

In 1861, Martha Jewell (70) of Crowan, widow, was with her son Benjamin and his family in 27 New Street, Penzance.

Martha married Samuel JEWELL, son of Simon JEWELL and Ann ANDREW, on 22 Oct 1804 in Crowan, Cornwall. (Samuel JEWELL was christened on 14 Jun 1778 in Wendron, Cornwall and was buried on 12 Oct 1850 in Crowan, Cornwall.)
