Named as a beneficiary in the Will of his brother-in-law James Vivian (1778).

They came to Neath in 1792/3 where he was associated with The Neath Abbey Iron Company as an Agent or Engineer.

   Marriage Information:

James married Mary VIVIAN, daughter of John VIVIAN of Rosewarne, Gent. and Julian MILL, on 3 Nov 1755 in Camborne, Cornwall. (Mary VIVIAN was born in 1733 in Camborne, Cornwall, christened on 15 Jul 1733 in Camborne, Cornwall and was buried on 30 Jul 1799 in Camborne, Cornwall.)
