"William Nightingale
William "Bill" Nightingale, 55, Salina, died Sunday, Sept. 1, at the Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit, after a heart attack. Mr. Nightingale was born Aug. 4, 1930, in Clay Center. He was a salesman for the F&A Food Company, Concordia, and was the former owner and operator of the Manhattan Nursery, Manhattan. He was a member of the Christian Church, Clay Center.
He is survived by his wife, Marvalee of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Pride of Bakersfield, Calif., and Teresa Coonrod of Oklahoma City; his parents, Ben and Genevieve of Clay Center; a sister, Wanda Predmore of Beatrice, Neb.; and three grandchildren...." 2
