"Will of George Trenery Bennett late of Sydney in the State of New South Wales, Engineer.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL of me GEORGE TRENERY BENNETT of Sydney in the State of New South Wales, Engineer. I APPOINT my wife DORIS LILIAN BENNETT and PERPETUAL TRUSTEE COMPANY (LIMITED) to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will. I BEQUEATH to my wife all the household furniture plate linen china glass books pictures prints provisions and other household effects and all jewellery belonging to me at the time of my death and a legacy of Four hundred pounds (£400.0.0) to be paid to her out of the first moneys coming to the hands of my Executors and to be delivered and paid free from all deductions AND as to all the rest of my estate and effects both real and personal I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH the same unto my said Trustees UPON TRUST to sell call in and convert the same into money with power to postpone sale for whatever period they may think fit and UPON FURTHER TRUST to invest the money arising therefrom in the names or name of my Trustees or Trustee (which trust property and the funds securities and investments thereof are hereinafter referred to as the "said Trust Fund") and to pay the annual income thereof to my wife during her life and immediately after the death of my wife to hold the said Trust as to one half part or share thereof for my son Peter absolutely and as to the other fund UPON TRUST to pay the income to be derived therefrom to my daughter Pamela for her lifetime and after her death UPON TRUST as to both corpus and income thereof for her child if only one or her children if more than one who shall survive her and live to attain the age of twenty one (21) years AND if no child of hers shall live to attain a vested interest therein then UPON TRUST for his child or children I DIRECT that the income hereinbefore directed to be held UPON TRUST for my daughter shall be held by my Executors and Trustees upon protective trusts as declared by Section 45 of the Trustee Act 1925-1938 I DIRECT that any moneys requiring investment under this my Will may be invested by my Trustees in any of the following forms of investment with liberty to vary and transpose the same from time to time namely: (a) Upon fixed deposit bearing interest with any Bank or carrying on business in New South Wales (b) In or upon the shares of any company carrying on business in Australia IT IS MY WISH AND DESIRE that my remains may be cremated. IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of October one thousand nine hundred and forty five. GEORGE T. BENNETT.

SIGNED by the Testator the said GEORGE TRENERY BENNETT as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time and we at his request in his sight & presence and in the sight and presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. 19th August, 1946. On this date Probate of the last Will of the abovenamed deceased was granted to DORIS LILIAN BENNETT and PERPETUAL TRUSTEE COMPANY (LIMITED) the Executors named in the said Will. TESTATOR DIED on the 16th April, 1946. ESTATE SWORN at the sum of £22,654.10.9 nett." 7

(Doris Lilian Duncan FISHER was born in 1892 in Woollahra District, Sydney, N.S.W., Australia 8 and died on 25 Nov 1969 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 9 10.)
