"Lillian J. Walrath

Lillian J. Walrath, 83, Waukesha, died Monday, May 3, 1993, at Westmoreland Health Care Center, Waukesha.

She was born Aug. 18, 1909, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (White) Rector. She received a bachelor of education degree from Platteville State Teachers College in 1934 and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She taught at the Norris Foundation in the town of Vernon prior to her marriage to Eugene Walrath in 1940. He died in 1959. She taught in Muskego from 1959 until her retirement in 1977.

Lillian was an avid gardener and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waukesha. She was formerly a member of Wisconsin Education Association, National Education Association and M.T.E.

Survivors include a son, John E. (Jane E.) Walrath, Delafield; a daughter, Jean A. Walrath, Lake Hiawatha, N.J.; two brothers, Richard (Gloria) Rector, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Keith (Lorraine) Rector, Parriffville, Conn.; three sisters, Mildred MacNaughton, Enid Burke and Miriam (Paul) MacAloon, all of Shullsburg; and two grandchildren...." 4
