Michigan Deaths and Burials (1800-1995) shows a Henry Vivian having died in Michigan in 1888, aged 70 years, son of Henry & Eliza. Note, however, that there is no record of a Henry Vivian, b.c. 1818, son of Henry & Eliza, in the England parish registers; the only christening of a Henry son of Henry took place on 23 Aug 1818 in St. Austell, and his mother's name was Jane. It is possible that the parents' names as supplied by the informant on Henry's death got it completely wrong, noting that there is no record of a Henry Vivian (born between 1816 and 1820 in England) having resided in Michigan. Of the three children of Henry that survived, two married in Michigan, so it is possible that this Henry moved to Michigan sometime between 1880 and 1888.
