---------------------------

There is no burial record or entry in the GROE Death Index for Elizabeth Glanville between 1881 and 1891. Her age in 1881 should have been around 76, so the informant was out by a few years. In 1891, at the same address (20 Tolcarne St.), was an Elizabeth Glanville of Camborne, widow, though said to be aged 82 years. With her was her daughter Elizabeth Batten (said to be aged 69)* with her husband Henry Batten, aged 74. The latter couple married in 1890. Elizabeth Glanville of Tolcarne Street was buried on 2 Oct 1895 in Camborne, her age in the burial record being 83 (as it also states in the Death Notice in "The Cornishman"). It seems likely that this was the same Elizabeth, but who died aged 90 years.

* It is evident that the mother's age is incorrect in the 1891 Census, since at 82 it is highly unlikely that she (Elizabeth Glanville) had a daughter who was 69.
