"DIED—James CORNELIUS, aged 49 years, supervisor of Schoolcraft Township, died at his Lake Linden home yesterday morning from a heart condition. He had to quit his job as a carpenter at the Calumet and Hecla mill due to illness.
He was born in Dodgeville. Wisconsin 1856 August 19. His parents, Samuel J. CORNELIUS and Mary PENBERTHY, were born in REDRUTH, CORNWALL, ENGLAND.
Twenty years ago he came to Lake Linden from Wisconsin and lived here till his death. He leaves a widow, daughter and his mother, aged 82 years old.

He leaves two sisters— Mrs. William DAVEY (Davies), Mrs. William McILROYE and a brother Charles, all of Seattle, Washington." 4
