Isabelle DE LUXEMBOURG Dame de Namur
- Born: Abt 1248, Namur, Flanders, Belgium, Netherlands
- Married: May 1264-1265
- Died: 25 Sep 1298
The Iohannis de Thilrode Chronicon names "Elysabeth filia Henrici comitis de Lucemborch" as the second wife of "Guido", specifying that he obtained the county of Namur through her. The History of the Bishops of Liège written by Jean Hocsemius, canon at Liège, records that "Isabella Flandriæ comitissa soror...comitis Lutzilburgensis" appointed “dominum de Falcomonte” to “terræ dotis suæ Namurcensis” in 1288 after “bellum apud castrum de Waronc” in which her brother was killed.
Isabelle married Guy III DE DAMPIERRE Count of Flanders & Namur, son of Guillaume II DE DAMPIERRE Seigneur de Dampierre and Marguerite II DE HAINAUT Comtesse de Hainault et de Flandres, in May 1264-1265. (Guy III DE DAMPIERRE Count of Flanders & Namur was born between 1225 and 1226 in Dampierre, Aube, Champagne, France, died on 7 Mar 1304-1305 in Compiègne, Oise, France and was buried in Abbaye de Flines, near Douai.)
