Alfred Thomas Bohlsen, at R.G.H. Concord, late of Guildford, died aged 90 years.

Alfred Thomas Bohlsen was a coachman and a tailor. Alf listed in WWI in 1918 - he was a private, but only had 119 days service in NSW as a recruit. His name is on the War Memorial in Hornsby.

From 1924 to 1930 he had a tailor's shop in Coffs Harbour. In 1940 Alf lowered his age by 10 years and enlisted for WWII. He served in Australia for 1532 days and contracted polio (?) from which he was dangerously ill. He had reached the rank of Staff Sergeant and was now totally and permanently incapacitated - on a pension for the remainder of his life. 7
