ROCHESTER, MINN. - Martha D. "Marcy" Thronson, age 39, of Rochester, Minn., died Sunday morning, March 16, 2003, at Rochester Methodist Hospital. She was born June 10, 1963, at Bloomington, Wis., the daughter of William C. and Delores G. (Sanger) Pohle.
She married Richard E. Thronson Aug. 20, 1988, at Lancaster. She graduated from UW-LaCrosse in 1985, earning a B.S. degree in elementary education. She taught in Cashton from 1986 until 1988, then moved to Rochester, Minn., where she has lived since.
She worked as a daycare teacher for 12 years at Children's World Learning Center in Rochester. Martha enjoyed doing child care and reading. She was a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; her mother, Delores G. Pohle; and two sons, Riley William and Kirby Richard Thronson, both at home.
She was preceded in death by her father, William C. Pohle, just one month ago.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2003, at ZUMBRO LUTHERAN CHURCH, Rochester. Burial will be at Blake's Prairie Cemetery, Bloomington, Wis., at a later date.
